Holiday blues | Chief problem is the stores

[1]Johannesburg | Players for traditional South African powers Kaizer Chiefs [2] of Soweto might be planning a “stay-at-home Christmas” [1] due to poor recent form, according to Business Day. The Chiefs stand in a tie for sixth in the 16-team Premier league, although just eight points adrift of leading Orlando Pirates with a game in hand. Chiefs have also fared poorly in domestic cup competitions. “We cannot go to restaurants because the waiters do not serve us and instead want to know what is going on,” said midfielder John “Shoes” Moshoeu of the side, which has won back-to-back Premiership titles.
A simple trip to the shops becomes a problem because the cashiers also do not give us the goods we want. And, to make matters worse, even my grandmother wants to know what is going on when I go home.
