Jose Mourinho [1]São Paulo | Life for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been anything but halcyon since the Blues clinched their second straight Premiership title. Mourinho traveled last week to see Chelsea transfer target Carlos Tevez, who plays for Corinthians of Brazil, face River Plate in the Copa Libertadores round of 16. The match was halted early, however, as Corinthians supporters, enraged by Chelsea’s designs on their Argentinean star, assaulted the team’s VIP box and kept the Chelsea manager and Corinthians directors barricaded in a dressing room [1] for two hours. “I don’t know what Jose Mourinho can be thinking right now,” said River Plate president Jose Maria Aguilar. “The guy had to run away before the end of the match, with his life in danger.”
